Located in Houston, Texas, Yuma Exploration and Production Company, Inc. (“Yuma”) employs a strategy to develop 3-D projects in which the regional geological framework and prospect level subsurface details support the acquisition of new 3-D seismic from which a multi-year prospect inventory is derived. Yuma strives to reduce risk further by utilizing various seismic attributes which can be direct hydrocarbon indicators. This strategy has enabled Yuma to consistently achieve high success rates with excellent rates of return and finding costs for Yuma and its partners. Expanding on this strategy, Yuma also identifies and exploits unconventional resource plays as well as conventional plays which benefit from down spacing and horizontal drilling.
